Hi there, my name is Cassandra and I am a first year resident at EIRMC. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, home of the “largest spectacle in racing”, the Indy 500 and I “bleed the blue” come fall time as I cheer on my beloved Indianapolis Colts. I also graduated from Ball State University with my undergraduate degree in Theatrical Studies before changing paths into medicine.
When I am not telling interesting facts about the Hoosier state, you can find me quoting Disney movies, listening to Broadway music, or hanging out with my wonderful fiancé and co-resident, Ryan Sauther. He is from the Pacific Northwest originally and we met in the second week of medical school when I randomly sat in the empty desk next to him. When first coming out to Idaho, there were 2 characteristics that drew me in: the lovely people and the amazing opportunity for outdoor activity. When I am not at the hospital or outdoors enjoying nature, I enjoy cooking, sewing, lifting weights, and modern dance.
