Pharmacy Director
Troy was born and raised in Southeastern Idaho and received his pharmacy training along with business management education at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls and Idaho State University in Pocatello.
In his career, he has been actively involved in the management of community retail, 340b and ambulatory clinical pharmacy services in Idaho, Utah, and Montana. His committed adherence to the strict pharmacy processes and regulations brought him to Community Family Clinic where his attention to detail was vital to the development and implementation of our new pharmacy.
Troy enjoys working in pharmacies like this where he can get to know our patients personally. This connection is critical as he and the entire pharmacy team work diligently to gain access to effective, affordable medications and meet any other needs that exist.
Medication therapy and insurance formularies are a puzzle he enjoys reviewing to find a positive solution for everyone. Having grown up in a small Idaho town, he understands patient needs for those who travel from near and far to visit their healthcare provider.
He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chiapas and Tabasco Mexico. Troy is excited to serve our native Spanish speaking customers and share his love of the culture as well.
With his extensive pharmaceutical training and management experience coupled with the ability to collaborate with both patients and providers, Troy is an exceptional fit for Community Family Clinic. He is excited to be in the great community of Idaho Falls with his four children and wife, who happens to be his high school sweetheart. Together, they enjoy traveling, visiting with friends and family, BBQs, woodworking, and home improvement projects.
